Best day we had!
Our Paradise Valley trips are designed to feel relaxed, personal, and genuinely off the beaten track. You do not need to be fit or experienced — this is a nature trip at your own pace.
1. Pickup from Taghazout, Tamraght, Agadir
We pick you up from your accommodation or a central meeting point. The drive toward the Atlas Mountains foothills takes around 45 minutes and is scenic in itself — passing through Aourir (Banana Village) and into the valley road up into the wild hills of Paradise Valley.
2. Visiting the Argan Oil Cooperative
On the way to the valley, we stop at a local women’s cooperative with a beautiful botanical garden. This is a genuine working cooperative: You will learn about the process how argan oil is extracted by hand, and can buy directly from the source if you want.
3. Paradise Valley: natural pools & lush greens
Depending on the season, you can swim in the natural rock pools, walk along the valley floor, explore the palm oasis, or simply sit and take it all in. Your guide is with you throughout — explaining the landscape, the local culture, and the best photo spots.
4. Optional: Tizgui Village in the mountains
Further up the valley, the small mountain village of Tizgui offers a completely different atmosphere — fewer visitors, traditional architecture, and a quieter, more authentic slice of local life. Tizgui is available as its own bookable experience: the Tizgui Group + Lunch.
All Paradise Valley tours are led by experienced local guides who know the valley well. We choose routes based on the season, water levels, and group preference — so your experience is always tailored, never generic. We also avoid the crowded main spots where possible, which means you see the real Paradise Valley, not just the Instagram version.

Paradise Valley is around 25 km from Taghazout — approximately 45 minutes by road. The route passes through Aourir (Banana Village) and follows a scenic mountain road toward the Atlas foothills.
Yes. Pickup from Taghazout and Tamraght is included in all tours. Pickup from Agadir is available on request — just mention your location when you message us on WhatsApp.
Yes, in most seasons. The natural rock pools in Paradise Valley are the main draw for swimmers. Water levels are highest in spring (March to June) after winter rains. In summer, some pools may be lower or dry. Your guide will confirm swimming conditions on the day. In Tizgui swimming is always possible.
Plan for approximately 5-6 hours in total, including pickup, the drive, time in the valley, and the return journey. The actual time in the valley is typically 2.5–3 hours, depending on your chosen route and whether you include the optional lunch.
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp as early as possible if you need to reschedule. If conditions change or something comes up, we will find an alternative date or time depending on availability. We are a local team and we treat every booking personally.
Bring comfortable walking shoes or sandals (the rocks can be uneven), sunscreen, water, a light jacket for the mountain air, and swimwear plus a towel if you plan to swim. If you have booked the tour with lunch, no extra preparation is needed.
Yes. The trip is suitable for families with children of most ages. The route is adapted to the group’s pace and fitness level, so there is no pressure to hike long distances. Let us know the ages of your children when you message us and we will advise on the best option.
Absolutely. You can enjoy Paradise Valley without any strenuous walking. We adapt the trip to your pace — some visitors prefer to sit, relax, and take in the scenery, while others want to explore further up the valley. Tell us your preference when you book.
Tizgui is a small, traditional mountain village around 10 km further up the valley from the main Paradise Valley pools. It is far quieter than the main area, with a more authentic local atmosphere and natural water spots. This is not a standard tourist stop — we include it on request, primarily on private tours or by arrangement.
Payment is cash on the day, in EUR or MAD. We confirm your booking via WhatsApp first, and you pay your guide when we meet. Please bring the exact amount if possible.
Booking directly with us means your money goes to the local team who actually guides your trip — not to a large booking platform. It also means you can ask questions before you confirm, adjust the plan if needed, and get honest, personal advice about what to expect. We respond on WhatsApp within minutes, not days.
Paradise Valley is a natural gorge and palm oasis located in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, around 25 km from Taghazout and 35 km from Agadir. It is one of the most visited natural sites near the Agadir coast — and for good reason. The valley offers a landscape that feels completely different from the beach: cooler, greener, and far more peaceful.
The main draws are the natural rock pools (ideal for swimming, especially in spring), the dramatic canyon views, walking trails along the valley floor, and the slow, traditional pace of life in the small villages above the gorge. Further up, the village of Tizgui offers one of the most authentic local experiences in the region — and is included on request in our private tours.
The best time to visit is spring (March to June), when the pools are full and the vegetation is at its most lush. Summer visits are still worthwhile but expect higher temperatures inland and lower water levels. For a full breakdown of what to expect each season, read our Paradise Valley travel guide.
When you book surf lessons directly with local instructors, the experience is more personal and flexible. You can ask questions before booking, confirm pickup details easily and get honest advice about the best session for your level and the daily conditions.
You also support a local team instead of booking through a large platform. That means more of your money stays with the people who actually teach and guide your surf lesson in Taghazout.
If you are staying in Taghazout, a Paradise Valley day trip is one of the easiest half-days you can add to your stay. Pickup is included, the drive is scenic and short, and the contrast between the ocean village and the mountain valley makes it a genuinely memorable change of pace. Combine it with a morning of surf lessons in Taghazout on another day — or a sunset sandboarding session at the Timlalin dunes — for a full and varied stay.
Tamraght is just minutes from Taghazout and perfectly placed for a Paradise Valley tour. We pick you up directly or at a central point, so you do not need to arrange your own transport. Message us with your date, group size, and where you are staying — we confirm the pickup time and details via WhatsApp.
If you are staying in Agadir, a Paradise Valley day trip is one of the most popular reasons to leave the city for a few hours. The drive takes around 45–60 minutes depending on your location in Agadir, and we can arrange pickup on request. It is a perfect contrast to the Agadir promenade — and one of the top-rated things to do near Agadir for nature lovers.
Yes — technically. Paradise Valley is a public natural site and anyone with a car can drive there. A taxi from Taghazout will get you to the main pools for a negotiated price. Here is what that gets you: the main spot, the busy pools, and a driver waiting in the car park.
Here is what it does not get you:
The main Paradise Valley pools are well-known and can get crowded. Our guides know where to go when the main area is busy — and they choose the route based on the day, the season, and your group.
We stop at a women-run argan cooperative on the way — not a tourist shop, a genuine working cooperative. You learn how argan oil is made by hand and can buy directly from the source.
If you book the tour tour to Tizgui with lunch, the meal is prepared at a local family home for you — a personal arrangement our guides have built over years.
If you want to go beyond Paradise Valley to the Tizgui Hidden Valley — quieter, wilder nauzre and a traditional village — you need a guide who knows the road and the village. That is not a Google Maps route.
So: yes, you can go yourself. But what we offer is not just transport. It is local knowledge, local access, and a version of the day that a taxi cannot provide.
